Just as we gradually make science fact of "Minority Report," we must acknowledge the real prospects for a dystopia outcome, and avoid the trap of a naively fashioned utopia of technology (rf. Is this the future of the Internet of Things?).  We as humankind seem to have capacity for both good and evil, for achievement and regression, and for altruism and abomination.  Both the yin and yang in us warrant due recognition.
